Bright day, with mixed sun & clouds. Rather more cloud than sun for much of
the day. No wind. Hot 33 – 34 C. Rumbling thunder in
the distance. Near calm at the beaches.
5 June –
Bright day, but quite cloudy. A few sunny spells. Short heavy rain showers from
time to time. Windy at times. Warm 32 C. Medium waves at the beaches.
6 June –
Dull morning, overcast. Becoming brighter by afternoon, with lighter clouds.
Windy at times. Warm 33 C. Big waves at the beaches.
7 June –
Bright day, with mixed sun & clouds. Not much wind. Warm 32 C. Medium waves
at the beaches.
8 June –
Cloudy day. Very dark clouds throughout the day, leading to heavy rain showers
from time to time. Windy at times Medium 30 – 31 C. Medium wave at the beaches.
9 June –
Overnight rain showers. Cloudy day. Short rain showers from time to time. Some
very light, and some very heavy. No wind. Medium 30 C. Sea becoming rougher.
10 June –
Overnight rain. Early morning starts with heavy rain and dark skies. By 08.00
skies becoming brighter, leading to a day of mixed sun & clouds. More
clouds than sun. Not much wind. Medium 30 C. Medium waves at the beaches.
11 June –
Cloudy morning. Afternoon having mixed sun & clouds. Some nice sunny spells
later in the afternoon. Medium 30 C. Light waves at the beaches.
12 & 13 June – Heavy overnight
rain showers. Bright days, with mixed sun & clouds. Some nice sunny
periods. Rain arrived early evening for a short time. Some thunder at times.
Not much wind. Medium 30 C. Light waves at the beaches.
14 June – Morning started bright and
sunny, with blue skies. About 10.00 dark clouds rolled in from the sea,
bringing rain. Rain lasted until about 12.30, then a bright afternoon, with
mixed sun & clouds until about 15.30 when the dark skies rolled in bringing
rain for the rest of the day. Gusty winds. Cool 28 C. Light waves at the
beaches.
15 June – Another mixed day. Morning
bright, with mixed sun & clouds. Afternoon becoming stormy, with dark skies
and gusty winds. Then rain, for a while, followed by mixed sun & clouds.
More rain late afternoon. Medium to light waves at the beaches. Medium 29 – 30
C.
16 - 18 June – Mixed weather
continues. Mixed sun & clouds morning. Darker clouds afternoon, leading to
heavy rain showers, mixed with more sun & clouds. Very windy periods. Cool
29 C. Sea becoming rough and confused.
19 June – Cloudy day. Frequent and heavy
rain showers all through the afternoon and into the evening. Windy. Cool 27 –
28 C. Rough seas.
20 June – Cloudy day, with no rain. Maybe
a few spots of rain. Windy. Cool 27 – 29 C. Very rough seas.
21 June – Early morning very dark
skies, leading to persistent rain. Rain continued throughout most of the day.
Cool 27 C. Very rough seas. For sure the worst weather day so far this 2006
year.
22 June – Bright day, with mixed sun
& cloud. Not much wind. Warm 30 C. Seas turning from rough to medium waves.
A very pleasant day after an unusually long spell of unsettled weather.

clouds. Some very sunny periods. Not much wind. Warm 31 C. Medium to rough
waves at the beaches.
24 June – Gray day, with low clouds
bringing persistent rain through most of the day. Cool 28 C. Rough seas.
25 June – Bright morning, with mixed
sun & clouds. Afternoon becoming very gray, with low clouds. Frequent rain
showers for the rest of the day. Medium 30 C. Medium to rough seas.
26 June – Mostly a very cloudy day,
with gray skies and light rain from time to time. Still windy. Cool 29 C.
